Here I sit motionless. Unable to move. Not because of a terrible accident as you will see , but it is fear that has immobilized me. I don't fear losing my life but.... I fear living it. So long I have merely existed. Taken in my nourishment. My daily bread. When I was tired I would retire to my bed. I would walk through the day. Never seeing one from the other. Never knowing what was to await me. I never gave it a bother. The first time we met it was a simple greeting. A hello, Good day just a chance meeting. As time goes on I understand and see that you and I have a preset destiny. We talk, we chat, we laugh and we shout. The connection between us is strong no doubt. But the closer we get, The farther away from the start. The more you touch my mind, my soul and heart. Here lies my fear, understand you must. Because it has been so long since I had someone I could trust. My heart has known desire, lies and such. But never, oh never has it felt such a loving touch. Your kindness is intoxicating. It calms, It soothes. There is no part of me that you moved. I have been hurt before in the past. To move on in life my fears need to be cast. For to find Joy and Love and my heart truly sing. I must release all my doubt and wager everything.. So here I am back at the start. What choice do I make, What do I do with my heart. Do I walk the world dead and cold inside. Or like a big time Vegas player ...Let It All Ride.. I have walked alone for so long with no end in sight. But now you have appeared. My guide, my marker my shining light. Now is the time, My choice to make. Here and now is where I decide my fate. Now walking alone is not living to me. In your arms my love is the only place for me. So here I go putting myself at stake.
